A very hot redneck town in the far north of South Africa, called Phalaborwa.
This video is about the most exciting thing that ever happened there.. But if you are interested in animals – this will amaze you. Wildebeest take control of lions and crocs. An old school cobber, now at Sydney Stock Exchange, sent me this link.
Its the Kruger National Park, and I grew up right next to – literally, the gate and the fence alongside. Learnt to ride motorcycle right there.
Also did 2 years (720 days, counted everyone) of National Service there from 1985 to 1987.
